Pick Me Up

Ingredients

• 500 ml Smirnoff
• 300 ml Lemonade
• A pinch of salt
• 1 ltr apple juice
• 1 bottle red wine

Procedure

Preparation time: 2 hrs

1. Mix all the vodka and lemonade and add a dash of salt.
2. Now pour this into an ice-tray and freeze it to make the vodka ice cubes.
3. Take a tall glass, pour 2-3 cubes of vodka ice depending on size of cubes and your desire for strength of the drink.
4. Pour 2 parts apple/pineapple juice on top of ice and add 1.5 parts red wine over apple juice.
5. Let the ice melt a little before you drink this. Mix the drink up a little so all the spirits and juices are well gelled up.

P.S.: This is my version of the drink. Normal Pick-me-ups would have 1 part vodka + 1.5 parts apple juice topped with 1.5 parts red wine, served in a chilled glass.
